Diving Equipment and Hire

We are all fanatical about diving and fishing, which means we know what gear to use, where to fish and where to dive in the Eastern Bay. We fill dive tanks, service dive equipment, hire out equipment to qualified divers, spool fishing reels, top shot line and rig big game lures. We are open 7 days a week for your convenience.

If you want to get into diving, we are a PADI training centre as well, so you can do your PADI Open Water Course with us. Our head instructor has over 16 years experience teaching divers in the local area. Come and see us today.

Learn to Scuba Dive

Sea Marine now offer Learn to Dive courses in Whakatane. Take your internationally recognised certification anywhere. It is your passport to a whole new world.

A very experienced dive instructor will take you through the basics in the pool and open water, once you have completed your elearning online. Register with us to set up your online learning today. Learn in your own time, in your own lounge, then come together with fellow students to learn the practical skills.

Participants will spend 2 days in the swimming pool to learn and master the drills with the safety and security of your dive instructor, then you will take to the open water for 4 dives over 2 days.

Courses cost $695 per Diver. Anyone over 12 and under 100 can learn to dive.
